Hill Street Skate Park Renovation - CIP# 410039 (DBE Goals)

The City of Frederick is seeking a proposal for the renovation of the Hill Street Skate Park. The project includes demolition of the existing skate park and reconstruction of the skate park within its existing footprint using concrete, granite, and other weather-resistant products/materials. The selected proposer will be responsible for providing all services, including labor, materials, and equipment, associated/specialized services, project management, construction, and construction administration. The project also includes community/public engagement, sediment control, and landscaping/green space restoration. The proposer must comply with all Federal, State, and City requirements, as well as the City's Standard Design and Construction Details and Standard Construction Specifications. • The project requires a pre-proposal meeting, which will be held on October 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM. • The proposer must provide a detailed M/WBE Participation Plan to meet the DBE goals of 30% of construction cost. • The proposer must comply with the City's Local Preference Policy, which grants a preference to City businesses. • The proposer must provide insurance certificates, including Workers' Compensation Insurance, Commercial General Liability Insurance, and Business Automobile Insurance. • The proposer must guarantee all work performed for a period of two years from the date of final acceptance of the work by the City.
