Marais Des Cygnes River 2D Modeling Project

The Johnson County Stormwater Management Program is seeking a contractor to perform a 2D hydrologic and hydraulic modeling study for the Marais Des Cygnes River watershed. The study area consists of approximately 125 miles of mapped streamways and 76 square miles of drainage area. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a detailed scope of work, including tasks such as project outreach and communication, event data capture, discovery data capture, base map data capture, survey data capture, hydrology and hydraulics data capture, and floodplain mapping data capture. The contractor will also be required to submit all deliverables through the FEMA Mapping Information Platform (MIP). Some of the key tasks and deliverables include: • Project Outreach and Communication Plan • Event Data Capture • Discovery Data Capture • Base Map Data Capture • Survey Data Capture • Hydrology and Hydraulics Data Capture • Floodplain Mapping Data Capture The contractor will be evaluated based on their project approach and understanding, quality of similar work, key personnel, and overall responsiveness to the RFP.
