Roberson Museum Campus Revitalization

The intent of this RFP is to select a design team capable of delivering a technically rigorous, costcontrolled, and constructible design solution that aligns with Roberson Museum’s operational realities, funding constraints, and long-term stewardship obligations. Roberson is embarking on a comprehensive program to address critical building envelope issues, modernize gallery and public spaces, upgrade HVAC systems, install new restroom facilities, update electrical systems, and enhance the site through green infrastructure innovations. The majority of this work will take place in the non-historic structures; utilities will run throughout the Museum and Mansion buildings, and loads should be calculated as such. Structures identified as Randall House and Carriage House are largely exempted from the scope of work. This project represents a major component of Roberson’s transformative Capital Campaign, which aims to modernize and enhance the Museum’s facilities to better serve the community and ensure long-term sustainability.
