Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Proficiency Testing (PT) & Accreditation Fees for the Albuquerque Area Office- IHS

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is issuing a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract for Proficiency Testing (PT) and Accreditation Fees for the Albuquerque Area Office. The contract will be awarded to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for a base year and four option years. The requirement is for the provision of PT materials and enrollment in a CMS-approved PT program, as mandated for laboratories performing clinical diagnostic testing under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). The scope of work includes PT events, test materials, reporting processes, scoring, and performance evaluations associated with CMS PT program participation.
