Description
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas is seeking applications from licensed physician facilities to provide pre-employment physical examinations and evaluations for law enforcement candidates. The selected contractor will provide services on an as-needed basis, and the contract term is expected to be approximately 5 years. The contractor must meet specific requirements, including having a minimum of three consecutive years of contract experience in providing professional physical examination services for military or government law enforcement candidates. The contractor must also provide pricing for all services listed in the Mandatory Pricing Schedule exhibit. Some key services include:
• Comprehensive Pre-Employment Physical Examination
• X-Rays
• Orthopedic Specialist Evaluation Consultation
• Cardiologist Specialist Evaluation Consultation
The contractor must be able to process a minimum of 15 candidates per day throughout the term of the contract, and their facilities must be located within a 15-mile radius of the DPS Headquarters complex in Austin, Texas.
