Description
The Texas Tech University System is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Construction Manager-Agent (CMA) service providers to be included on a Three-Year Pre-Qualification CMA Services Directory. The directory will be used by Texas Tech and its five component universities to select project-specific CMA services. The CMA services being sought include project management, quality assurance, and construction management. The selected CMA service providers will be responsible for uploading all documents generated into Trimble Unity Construct and Bluebeam Revu Studio.
Some key requirements for respondents include:
* Being established and in business for a minimum of five years providing CMA services for commercial construction projects
* Having a minimum $1,000,000.00 professional liability insurance coverage
* Providing complete responses to the information requested and noting any exceptions to any information contained or requested in the RFQ
* Submitting a signed Section 7 Form of Response with the SOQ
* Uploading responses to the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal by the deadline
* Not discriminating against an employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, sex, or disability
* Complying with Texas Government Code § 2274.002 and § 2252.201
* Filing Form 1295 electronically with the Texas Ethics Commission if selected
Some key evaluation criteria include:
* Comprehensiveness of the response
* Completion of all information requested
* Company's business structure and service locations
* Company's financial position and volume of work
* Claims and litigations history
* Company's insurance capacity and limits
* CMA services offered by the company
* Summary of experience
* Level of expertise in providing CMA services for specific facility types
* List of projects
* Ability to follow directions and provide a complete response to this RFQ
