Description
The City of Independence is soliciting bids for the supply and installation of a 4,000-gallon UL 2085 double-wall tank for diesel fuel. The tank will be installed at the Water Construction Maintenance location. The successful bidder will be responsible for furnishing and installing the tank, as well as providing all necessary equipment and materials. The city will be responsible for pouring the concrete pad and performing all electrical work.
• The tank must be approximately 25' long and 70'' in diameter.
• The tank must come equipped with emergency vents, a remote fill box with spill containment, and an overfill drop tube.
• The successful bidder must also provide a Fillrite FR313V remote pump, a Fillrite 902DPU metered cabinet, and all necessary piping and electrical connections.
• The successful bidder must test the system for proper operation and train city staff on the new system.
