Description
The Cobb County Department of Transportation is seeking a Design-Builder to provide design and construction services for the Johnson Ferry Road at Shallowford Road project. The project includes widening and reconfiguring the eastbound approach to the intersection, adding a dedicated left-turn lane, a single eastbound through lane, and a dedicated right-turn lane. The westbound approach will be reconfigured to provide dual left-turn lanes and dual westbound through lanes. The project also includes replacing existing traffic signal and pedestrian signal control components.
• The project will follow the Georgia Department of Transportation's Design-Build process.
• A virtual Industry Forum will be conducted on September 30, 2025, to provide information regarding the project's delivery goals, anticipated scope, and potential risks.
• The selection of the Design-Builder will be based on the lowest responsive bidder.
• The proposing Design-Builder and their subconsultant team members must be prequalified in the required Area Classes.
