Description
The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, is seeking information from potential vendors for a high-speed metal stamping press system for the lamination of brushless DC motor stators. The system should be able to laminate stators with a diameter of up to 50mm, using full-face bonding varnish (Backlack) for the lamination stacks bonding. The ideal system should include capabilities for high-speed metal stamping, automation and control, feed and stacking systems, and lamination and bonding processes.
• High-speed metal stamping press system with specified tonnage capacity, stroke rate, bed and slide dimensions, and shut height adjustment range.
• Automation and control features, including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
• Feed and stacking systems for coil feeding, material straightening, and automated stacking of rotor and stator lamination.
• Lamination and bonding processes, including bonding varnish compatibility, curing process, and lamination quality.
• System integration and turnkey solutions, including installation, training, and after-sales support.
