Culvert Maintenance 2025 (Phase I) (25-23) (Co. Engineer)

The Lancaster County Engineering Department is seeking bids for the Culvert Maintenance 2025 (Phase I) project. The project involves the installation of culvert pipes of various sizes and types under high-speed roadways, including excavation, bedding, placement of pipe and/or headwalls, backfill, compaction, and roadway grading. The contractor must demonstrate their responsibility to perform the work through prequalification, prior work experience, or similar work completed. The project includes multiple sites, and the contractor will be required to complete the work within the allocated number of working days per site. Key aspects of the project include: • Culvert installation and repair • Erosion and sedimentation control measures • Rock riprap and bedding • Headwall construction and repair • Concrete culvert pipes • Adjustment of drain tiles and rodent guards The contractor will be responsible for maintaining traffic control, providing barricades and signs, and ensuring the safety of the public and workers. The project is expected to commence on or after April 1st, 2026, and the contractor will be required to complete the work within 88 working days.
