Description
The College is seeking qualified contractors to perform comprehensive asphalt crack sealing and associated restriping across multiple campus parking lots and driveways. Work includes mechanical routing, cleaning, sealant application, and the removal/renewal of pavement markings in compliance with MDOT standards and ASTM‑D6690 Type II sealant specifications. The contract runs through June 30 2027 with a completion deadline of May 30 2027, includes a one‑year warranty, and requires appropriate bonding and insurance.
• Perform crack routing, cleaning, and sealing in a single‑day operation; sealant heated to 390‑410 °F; use 100 psi/150 cfm air system.
• Provide pavement‑marking/striping services per MDOT Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, including ADA and EV‑charging symbols.
• Submit bid electronically by September 24 2026, include bid bond (5 % for bids > $50 k) and performance/payment bonds (100 % for bids > $50 k).
