Description
The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is seeking a contractor to replace the Full Mission Ship Simulator (FMSS) 4K Digital Light Projector (DLP) laser projectors currently installed in Samuels Hall. The requirement includes removal of existing projectors, installation of new units, integration with the current simulation environment, and verification of full operational capability. The contractor will need to provide a complete end-to-end projection system, account for the curvature of the projection screen and edge blending, and provide support and warranty for the installed system.
• The project involves replacing existing projectors with new units

• The USMMA is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the contractor will need to meet and/or exceed the standards provided in the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
