Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to demolish two brick buildings, designated as Building 149 and Building 150, located at 4100 West Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45428. The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services to execute the demolition, including the removal and safe termination of utilities, retention of structural elements, and installation of temporary fencing. The contractor must also provide a detailed Utility Shutdown Plan and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• The contractor must develop and submit a comprehensive access plan to ensure safe entry and exit from the courtyard.
• The contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for stakeholders or departments occupying the surrounding buildings.
• The contractor must perform structural assessments and institute monitoring of adjacent buildings.
• The contractor must implement dust control and noise mitigation measures to minimize disturbances to the occupants of the surrounding buildings.
