As-Needed Public Works Construction Services (Signals/Lighting, Concrete/Paving, Signs/Markings)

The City of South San Francisco is seeking qualified contractors to provide as-needed public works construction services in the areas of Signals/Street Lights, Concrete/Paving, and Signs/Markings. The City intends to establish three separate benches, each consisting of up to three contractors per category, to support a variety of small-scale maintenance and improvement projects throughout the City. Work will be issued through individual task orders on an as-needed basis and will typically involve minor construction, repair, and maintenance within the public right-of-way. • The services will include Signals/Street Lights, Concrete/Paving, and Signs/Markings. • The City will establish three separate benches, each with up to three contractors per category. • Work will be issued through individual task orders on an as-needed basis. • Compensation will be based on the Caltrans Equipment Rental Rates and Labor Surcharge, with provisions for negotiated pricing for work not covered by standard rates.
