Description
The County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department, is seeking bids for the replacement of the admin building roof at Fire Camp 8. The project involves removing the existing roofing, inspecting and repairing the roof decking, and installing a new SBS type torch down roof. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials, as well as obtaining the required permits and licenses. The project must be completed within 10 working days, and the contractor must comply with all applicable codes and regulations, including California Code of Regulations Title 24 and Prevailing Wages.
• The project requires a mandatory job walk on May 12th, 2026, at 10:00 am.
• The contractor must have a C-39 - Roofing Contractors License or B - General Building Contractor’s license registered and in good standing with the State of California.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of a 20-year roofing materials warranty and 5-year labor warranty.
• The project is subject to Prevailing Wages, and contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
