Malvern Optical System

The NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) requires the procurement of a MasterSizer 3000 Optical System. The system should include a Mastersizer 3000+ Pro laser diffraction system with full Mastersizer Xplorer software, a Hydro MV medium volume automated liquid sample dispersion unit, and a solvent-compatible wet cell. The system should be able to measure particle sizes from 0.1 to 2500 microns. The contractor should provide training and support for the system, including self-installation instructions, digital training resources, and access to a helpdesk technical support department. • The system should be delivered with all required hardware and software. • The contractor should provide a range of training opportunities, including e-learning, classroom training, and consultative applications solution development. • The system should be compatible with a range of dispersants and have a wide range of applications. • The contractor should provide a full version of the Mastersizer Xplorer software, including a unique user-friendly interface for measurement control and data analysis. • The system should be able to automate measurements using SOPs and provide real-time data tracking.
