This competitive sealed‑bid solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to execute a comprehensive renovation of the linear accelerator (LINAC) suite at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. The work includes selective demolition of existing radiation‑oncology spaces, structural modifications, installation of a new Varian TrueBeam (or comparable) LINAC system with associated shielding, full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑protection upgrades, interior finish upgrades, and required temporary facilities. The contractor must comply with NYC Health + Hospitals’ Project Labor Agreement, meet a 30 % M/WBE participation goal, and adhere to strict certified‑payroll and safety regulations.
• Demolition and removal of existing LINAC vault, casework, MEP fixtures, and finishes.
• Installation of new LINAC equipment, shielding, rigging, and Varian IDENTIFY motion‑management system.
• Full MEP overhaul (HVAC, electrical power & data, medical‑gas, plumbing, fire‑suppression) and interior finish upgrades (walls, ceilings, millwork).
