Building Demolition

The City of Norwalk is seeking bids for the demolition of a building located at 13400 San Antonio Drive. The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the project. The estimated cost of the work is approximately $350,000. The project involves demolition of the building and pre-demolition Haz-Mat abatement and other relevant work. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract in the form included in the contract documents within 15 days from the date of delivery of the contract documents. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting on October 15, 2025. • The bid submission deadline is November 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM. • The project is subject to compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) and the Build America, Buy America Act. • The successful bidder must possess a valid Class B-General Building Contractor or C-21 Building Moving/Demolition Contractor’s license issued by the California State Contractors License Board. • The project requires the submission of a list of proposed subcontractors and a declaration of intent to comply with Section 3 requirements.
