KingFisher PlasmidPro Maxi Processor

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a quotation for a KingFisher PlasmidPro Maxi Processor, which is an automated plasmid purification system. The system must be fully automated, able to consistently and reliably purify plasmids >3kb in size, and produce maxiprep-scale plasmid yields. The system must also fit within a 24x24 inch footprint on the benchtop and be self-contained. The contractor will be required to deliver the system within 60 days of award, conduct on-site installation, verification of performance, and training required to operate the system. Key features and requirements of the system include: • Fully automated plasmid purification • Ability to purify plasmids >3kb in size • Production of maxiprep-scale plasmid yields • Self-contained system with a 24x24 inch footprint • Ability to go from bacterial culture to purified plasmid in under 90 minutes The contractor will also be required to provide a suitable technician for any required installation, training, or verification of function visits.
