Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Cancer Institute intends to award a sole‑source, firm‑fixed‑price order to Plasmidsaurus Inc. for RNA sequencing and whole‑genome sequencing services supporting CRISPR‑based lymphoma research. The work will involve sequencing wild‑type and drug‑treated cell lines to characterize genomic edits, identify translocations (MYC, BCL6, BCL2), and generate copy‑number variation data for downstream analysis. The award will be made shortly after the submission deadline, with the expectation that the selected vendor will deliver sequencing data using Oxford Nanopore Technologies platforms. • Provide RNA‑seq and WGS services for multiple cell‑line samples. • Use latest Oxford Nanopore platform to produce high‑throughput, scalable sequencing results. • Deliver data supporting investigation of lymphoma‑related genetic alterations and drug response pathways.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The contract will likely cover sequencing of dozens of samples, data analysis, and delivery of results. Based on typical pricing for high‑throughput RNA‑seq ($1,000‑$2,000 per sample) and whole‑genome sequencing ($5,000‑$8,000 per sample), the total spend could range from a few hundred thousand to around half‑a‑million dollars.
