Description
The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking a vendor to provide a five‑year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for amplicon (16S rRNA) and metagenomic sequencing services. The contractor must deliver high‑throughput Illumina AVITI sequencing (mandatory) and may also provide Illumina MiSeq sequencing for new projects, handling sample shipments of 96–384 samples per shipment and an annual volume of roughly 1,600–3,100 samples. All work is non‑personnel, all‑inclusive (equipment, labor, supplies, data delivery, QC reporting) and must be completed within 60 business days of sample receipt. The BPA has a total ceiling of $250,000 over five years, with individual call orders up to $100,000. The work will be performed for the USGS Upper Midwest Water Science Center in Lansing, Michigan, but the contractor’s sequencing facility can be located anywhere.
