Somatic Mosaicism across Human Tissues (SMaHT) Program: National Somatic Mosaicism Commons Data Analysis & Organizational Center (UM1 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The NIH is seeking a cooperative‑agreement (UM1) to establish the National Somatic Mosaicism Commons Data Analysis & Organizational Center, which will serve as the data‑management, analysis, and outreach hub for the Somatic Mosaicism across Human Tissues (SMaHT) Network. The Center will build and maintain a public data portal, variant catalog, browser, visualization tools, and release analysis‑ready datasets. It will also provide governance, coordination, community outreach, and training to enable researchers and clinicians to leverage the multi‑omic somatic mutation resources. • Scope includes data ingestion, curation, and secure storage of multi‑omic datasets from human tissues. • Development of web‑based tools (portal, variant browser, visualization dashboards) and APIs for external access. • Creation of analysis pipelines and ready‑to‑use data releases. • Ongoing governance, community engagement, and training programs for network members and the broader research community. • Funding is provided via a cooperative agreement (UM1) with eligibility for a wide range of public, nonprofit, tribal, and foreign entities.
