PWC - Gold Bar 12-554, North Mountain 12-2514 Transmission & Distribution Line Clearance

The Snohomish County PUD is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to prune, cut, treat, remove, clear, and dispose of trees and brush, as well as perform reseeding work, under and along approximately 87.5 pole miles of the District's Transmission and Distribution System. The work will be performed in Snohomish County, near the cities of Gold Bar, Baring, and Darrington. The contractor must be prequalified prior to bidding on this project and must comply with all applicable statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations. The project requires the contractor to provide a full-time qualified supervisor at the job site at all times when work is being performed. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, including aerial man lifts, chipper trucks, and power saws. • The contractor must use approved equal equipment and materials. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety. • The contractor must provide a written project completion plan and obtain approval from the District before commencing work. • The contractor must notify the District's Superintendent of Vegetation Management or designated representative at least two working days prior to commencing work and make arrangements for daily consultation. • The contractor must correct any variances from the requirements of the contract and notify the District when corrections have been completed.
