The California Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive refuse collection, hauling, and disposal services for Plumas‑Eureka State Park over a three‑year period. The contractor must handle non‑hazardous waste and recycling, maintain bear‑resistant containers, meet waste‑diversion goals, and comply with numerous state regulations and insurance requirements.
• Provide weekly (Mon‑Fri) collection, haul, and disposal of refuse and recycling across the park.
• Maintain and repair “bear‑resistant” containers at no cost to the State, and report waste‑diversion statistics quarterly.
