Prepurchase of Substation Transformers and Pad Mounted Transformers

The City of Pompano Beach is seeking bids for the prepurchase of substation transformers and pad-mounted transformers. The bid includes the supply of various transformers with different ratings, including 5,000 kVA, 2,500 kVA, and 1,500 kVA. The transformers will be used in the power distribution system of the Water Treatment Plant. The bid documents include drawings that illustrate the application of the transformers within the system. • The bid includes the supply of two service-entrance pad-mounted transformers, EB-MV-XFRMR-1A and MV-XFRMR-1B, each rated 5,000 kVA, 13.2 kV / 4.16 kV. • The bid includes the supply of two substation unit-type transformers, EB-SUB-XFRMR-T5A and EB-SUB-XFRMR-T5B, each rated 2,500 kVA, 4.16 kV / 480 V. • The bid includes the supply of two outdoor pad-mounted transformers, MB-XFRMR-T3 and MB-XFRMR-T4, each rated 2,500 kVA, 4.16 kV / 480 V. • The bid includes the supply of one outdoor pad-mounted transformer, HSP56-XFRMR-TU6, rated 1,500 kVA, 4.16 kV / 480 V.
