Blackerby Subdivision Utility Repairs - Phase I

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking bids for the Blackerby Subdivision Utility Repairs - Phase I project. The project involves the reconstruction of the upper 360 LF of Blackerby Street and the entirety of Ridge Way in the Lemon Creek area of Juneau, including various quantities of mobilization, traffic control, demolition and disposal, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, excavation and imported fill, water, sewer and storm drain pipe, structures and appurtenances, pavement and concrete surfacing, topsoil and seeding, construction surveying, signage, mailboxes, and other miscellaneous improvements and appurtenances necessary for a complete project. The engineer's estimate for the project is between $1,500,000 and $2,000,000. The project must be completed within 120 days of commencement of work or by October 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Key features of the project include: • Reconstruction of Blackerby Street and Ridge Way • Installation of new water, sewer, and storm drain pipes • Pavement and concrete surfacing • Topsoil and seeding • Construction surveying and signage • Mailboxes and other miscellaneous improvements The project requires a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond.
