CAL FIRE is seeking vendors to supply nutritionally‑balanced sack lunches for fire‑line, base‑camp, and administrative personnel during the 2026 fire season. Vendors must provide both meat and vegetarian versions of three lunch types, meet detailed calorie and macronutrient minima, include mandatory snack items, and deliver within a 24‑hour emergency‑order window. All proposals must be accompanied by product photos, nutrition data, capacity disclosures, insurance certificates, and a suite of state‑required forms (STD‑204, STD‑205, Contractor Certification Clauses, Bidder Declaration, Darfur Act Certification).
• Provide 24‑Hour Fire‑Line Lunch (≥ 4,000 kcal) and 12‑Hour Base‑Camp Lunch (≥ 1,800 kcal) with required meat, cheese, bread, snacks, and electrolyte mix.
• Offer Admin Lunch (≤ $19 per lunch, ≥ 600 kcal) for office staff.
• Demonstrate ability to produce, package, and deliver meals on short notice (order acknowledgment ≤ 1 hour, emergency delivery ≤ 24 hours) across the vendor’s service radius.
• Submit all required certifications, insurance, and photographs by the May 8, 2026 deadline.
