Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to replace the old roofing on Buildings 1, 1A, 5, and 7 at the Lt Col Luke Weathers Jr VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. The project involves replacing roofing on multiple buildings with different roofing types and requires coordination with the property owner for crane operations and with a mechanical contractor to alter existing mechanical equipment for roof installation. The contractor must have experience with roofing projects, including those that require removal and reinstallation of lightning protection, and must be able to work on a project with a total cost of $2,000,000 or more and 100,000 square feet or more. The contractor must also have experience managing larger roofing projects and have key personnel with experience managing VA roofing projects.
