Description
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is issuing a sole‑source notice to procure updated, digital, georeferenced Sanborn fire‑insurance maps for all five boroughs. The maps will be used by HPD planners, architects, engineers, cost estimators, legal staff and ULURP applicants for land‑use planning, parcel analysis, and historical research. HPD seeks a vendor that can provide the proprietary Sanborn data in GIS‑compatible digital formats, maintain its accuracy over the contract period, and offer technical assistance/training to staff.
• Deliver digital raster imagery and PDF map files (color, B&W, registered, and mosaic formats) for NYC parcels.
• Ensure data is current, accurate, and integrated into HPD’s GIS systems, supporting extraction of “meters and bounds” for ULURP filings.
• Provide ongoing technical support and training throughout a three‑year contract (July 1 2026 – June 30 2029).
