Description
The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive security‑related upgrades at Barton Dam, including fencing, lighting, CCTV cameras, electrical conduit work, removable bollards, tree removal, and related site work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services, obtain permits, and complete the project within 300 calendar days from mobilization. The scope also includes lead‑paint remediation, compliance with prevailing‑ and living‑wage ordinances, and submission of extensive statutory declarations.
• Install ~1,200 ft of ≥6‑ft high fencing (chain‑link or tubular picket alternate) with gates and appurtenances.
• Provide new interior and exterior security lighting, CCTV cameras, associated power and data conduit, and related electrical work.
• Perform demolition, site clearing (including specified tree removal), trenching, and installation of removable bollards and engineered fill.
• Complete lead‑paint abatement, obtain all required permits (with a $5 k allowance), and meet FERC driller qualification for any near‑dam drilling.
• Deliver a fully documented close‑out package (as‑builts, O&M manuals) and guarantee workmanship for one year.
