Dose Reconstruction and Related Activities to Support NIOSH's Responsibilities under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a contractor to provide dose reconstruction and related activities to support the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) responsibilities under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA). The contractor will be responsible for performing dose reconstructions, evaluating petitions for additions to the Special Exposure Cohort, and providing technical and program management support. The contractor will work closely with NIOSH to ensure that the work is performed in accordance with EEOICPA requirements and NIOSH policies and procedures. Some key tasks and deliverables include: * Performing dose reconstructions for claims referred by the Department of Labor * Evaluating petitions for additions to the Special Exposure Cohort * Providing technical and program management support to NIOSH * Developing and maintaining a database of radiation exposure information * Conducting site visits and interviews with claimants and other individuals * Preparing reports and other documents to support the dose reconstruction and petition evaluation processes.
