Description

The City of Santa Ana is seeking a Santa Ana‑based nonprofit to design and deliver a year‑long graffiti‑arts program that pairs high‑school youth with professional mural artists to create public murals, integrate arts‑based curriculum, and provide transportation and community engagement. The contract is for up to $100,000 per year, payable in two installments, with a base term of one year and possible extensions. The proposer must attend a mandatory pre‑proposal meeting, submit an electronic proposal by the deadline, and meet specific insurance, certification, and local‑business preference requirements. • Design, coordinate, and implement a 12‑month multidisciplinary mural program for youth. • Provide curriculum development, artist contracting, transportation planning, materials, and a final unveiling event. • Meet eligibility criteria: Santa Ana nonprofit, 3+ years relevant experience, required insurance, and local‑business certifications. • Budget ceiling $100,000 (two $50,000 payments) with reporting and audit obligations. • Evaluation based on capacity, program design, experience, budget, and possible interview bonus points.

Budget estimate

$80,000 – $100,000

The solicitation caps the program budget at $100,000 for the 12‑month period, payable in two $50,000 installments. Assuming the contractor can capture the full award, the expected earnings range would be roughly $80,000–$100,000 after accounting for required overhead, insurance, and administrative costs.
