Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to install an Engineered Materials Arresting System (EMAS) at the east end of Runway 5 on Laurence G. Hanscom Field. The work includes milling, crack repair, new asphalt paving, placement of pre‑cast EMAS blocks, concrete anchor beam construction, pavement marking removal and re‑strip, and associated grading, utility coordination, and safety‑phasing requirements. The contract is a lump‑sum award with a 5 % bid bond, performance and payment bonds, and a $5 M liability insurance requirement.
