Description
The US Air Force is seeking to purchase two Trench Rollers/Compactors for familiarization training and construction training requirements. The equipment must comply with certain minimum specifications, including standard dual working widths, dual function cabled/radio control box, intelligent vibration control, and a water-cooled engine. The equipment will be shipped to the 819th RED HORSE Squadron at Malmstrom AFB in Montana.
• The equipment must have standard dual working widths of 24 and 33.5 inches.
• The equipment must have a dual function cabled/radio control box (remote controlled).
• The equipment must have intelligent vibration control with two amplitudes.
• The equipment must have a water-cooled engine.
• The equipment must have articulated steering.
• The equipment must have a diesel fuel capacity of more than 6 gallons.
• The equipment must have an electric starter.
• The equipment must have dual scraper length options: 24 and 33.5 inches.
• The equipment must have a lockable engine cover and dashboard.
• The equipment must have a single point lifting device for ease of mobile transport.
