Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is proposing to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Censis Technologies for the procurement of Zebra Bar-code Scanners for their Censitrac Sterile Processing's Instrument Tracking Systems. The contract will be conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, which allows for sole source contracts when only one source can satisfy the agency's requirements. The Zebra scanners are compatible with the Censitrac software and are the only devices certified by Censis for use with the software. Interested vendors may submit a capability statement and completed Buy American Certificate to be considered by the agency.
