HSR25-40 Request for Proposals for Repair and Construction Projects. Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC)

The California High-Speed Rail Authority is seeking proposals for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to support its construction efforts. The contract will be for a broad range of repair and minor construction activities in Madera, Merced, Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare counties. The Authority intends to award multiple contracts to contractors in three pools of business: large business contractors, small business contractors, and utility relocation contractors. The contract term will be no more than five years, and task orders will have defined periods of performance. The Authority requires contractors to provide services that meet or exceed applicable professional standards of care and produce deliverables of the highest quality within a constrained schedule. • The contract will be funded by the State of California and federal funds. • The Authority has established a 25 percent Small Business (SB) utilization goal, inclusive of a 3 percent carve out for microbusiness. • The contract will be subject to the California Environmental Quality Act and other applicable federal and state laws. • Contractors will be required to comply with the Authority's Small Business Program Plan and other requirements. • The Authority reserves the right to enter into other contracts or agreements covering the same or similar services.
