KAIROS Microfluidic Sorter UPGRADE for S/N A0183

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to Apogee Flow Systems for upgrades to its existing Apogee Flow Systems MicroPLUS Flow Cytometer. The required upgrades include the KAIROS Microfluidic Sorter Upgrade and IOTA Enhancements for Nanoscale Applications. These upgrades are essential for analyzing bacterial populations and will enable the analysis of nanometer-sized synthetic bacterial spores and bacterial outer membrane vesicles. • The KAIROS Microfluidic Sorter Upgrade is necessary for isolating and capturing bacterial subpopulations for downstream analyses. • The IOTA Enhancements for Nanoscale Applications will enable the analysis of nanometer-sized synthetic bacterial spores and bacterial outer membrane vesicles. • The upgrades must be integrated into the existing Apogee Flow Systems MicroPLUS flow cytometer, and Apogee Flow Systems is the only known responsible source capable of providing these upgrades.
