Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal and sanding services at Black Rock Lake, Northfield Brook Lake, and Thomaston Dam in Thomaston, CT. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to perform snow removal and sanding activities. The contract period of performance is from contract award through 31 October 2026, with two option years. The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
* Key services include snow plowing, shoveling, sanding, and salting
* The contractor must provide a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and conduct regular safety meetings
* The contractor must also comply with all established security policies and procedures
* The contract includes a bid schedule with estimated quantities for each task
* The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, including a 3/4 ton four-wheel drive truck and a sander with a minimum one-yard capacity
