Southern Platte Pass Resurfacing

The Platte County Commission is seeking bids for the Southern Platte Pass Trail Resurfacing Project. The project includes a mill and asphalt overlay of the Southern Platte Pass Trail, as well as a small parking lot mill and overlay project at the Platte County South Community Center. The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local laws, safety and health standards, and rules and regulations. • The project has a completion timeline of 90 calendar days, with a liquidated damages clause of $500 per day for failure to complete the work on time. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including comprehensive general liability, workers' compensation, and commercial automobile liability. • The contractor must also provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond. • The project requires the contractor to conduct material testing for new concrete and asphalt overlays. • The contractor must comply with the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law and provide a sworn affidavit that they participate in E-Verify or other federal work authorization programs.
