Description
The Edgecombe County Planning and Inspections Department is seeking a qualified consultant to provide on-call services for periodic updates of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and development regulations-related matters. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing and reviewing UDO text amendments, participating in discussions with county staff, making presentations at hearings, and providing training to boards and county staff. The firm will also provide other development regulations-related consulting services on an as-needed basis.
The key aspects of this opportunity include:
• Providing user-friendly, consistent, and visually explanatory updates to the UDO
• Preparing and reviewing UDO text amendments
• Participating in discussions with county staff and making presentations at hearings
• Providing training to boards and county staff
• Offering development regulations-related consulting services on an as-needed basis
