The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids for repairs to damaged ductwork for AHU5 at the Capitol Building. The contractor will be responsible for disassembling metal duct to access the area where flex duct is located, replacing or repairing the flex duct, reinstalling metal duct, and starting AHU5 to verify proper installation. The contract will have a term of two years, with the option to renew for up to eight additional years. The contractor must be pre-qualified by the State of Illinois Capital Development Board and have three years of experience specializing in duct repairs. • The contractor will be responsible for all materials, equipment, supplies, labor, disposal services, incidentals, tools, and transportation to the Illinois State Capitol. • The contractor must conduct startup of AHU5 upon completion of work and verify proper performance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable environmental protection laws, Executive Orders, ordinances, regulations, rules, directives, and codes. • The contractor must provide a written narrative explaining how each qualification is met. • The contractor must attach a copy of their current CDB Qualification Certificate with their bid.
