Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Tees White Gill for the procurement of grooming services for the NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada's Bow Thruster Controls and HMI. The sole source determination is based on the requirement that the grooming service must be completed by the OEM, Tees White Gill. The contract will involve the groom and update of the Shimada bow thruster and thruster HMI. • The contract is for a sole source procurement. • The contractor must be the OEM, Tees White Gill. • The work includes grooming and updating the bow thruster and thruster HMI. • The contract is not open for competitive bidding, but firms can submit substantiating documentation within 10 days after publication of the synopsis.
