Description
The Indian Health Service is seeking a contractor to provide elevator preventive maintenance and repair services for the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service hospital. The contract includes monthly PM service, emergency service hours, and repair or replacement of components. The contractor is responsible for providing parts necessary to correct deficiencies found during PM and service visits, up to $25,000 per option year. The contract has a base year and four option years. Key responsibilities include utilizing a certified or licensed elevator mechanic to provide monthly PM service, examining, lubricating, adjusting, and repairing or replacing components of the traction elevator system.
• Monthly PM service to examine, lubricate, adjust, and repair or replace components
• Emergency service hours to respond to emergencies within 2 hours
• Repair or replacement of components, including machines, drives, motors, governors, sheaves, counterweights, safety mechanisms, and more
• Providing parts necessary to correct deficiencies found during PM and service visits, up to $25,000 per option year
• Submitting parts cost to the COR for approval and ensuring total parts do not exceed $25k in the option year
