C-17 BLOS MOD Interior Work Stands Scaffolding Robins AFB

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide C-17 Beyond Line of Sight Modified (BLOS MOD) Interior Work Stands/Scaffolding materials and equipment to the 402d Aircraft Maintenance Group (AMXG) at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. The scaffolding is intended to support personnel performing maintenance activities and must meet all applicable OSHA standards as well as DAFMAN 91203. The key requirements for the scaffolding include: • The scaffolding must be free-standing and only come into contact with the aircraft on the cargo deck. • The maximum number of personnel expected on the scaffolding at any given time is five. • The scaffolding must meet all applicable OSHA standards as well as DAFMAN 91203. • The layout drawings are intended to define required access locations and elevations only, with special attention to all access points and overall height/width restrictions.
