Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the hinged doors of a 4′ × 6′ water vault located at the Attorney General Building in Montgomery, and to remove and reinstall a Nepture Radio Read Meter Scanner. The work must be performed after a mandatory site‑visit on July 2, 2026 and completed within five consecutive days. The contractor must hold an Alabama General Contractor license if the bid exceeds $100,000, must perform all work without subcontractors, and must meet extensive insurance, OSHA, HIPAA, and site‑protection requirements.
• Remove existing water‑vault doors and install new 4′ × 6′ hinged doors.
• Remove, then reinstall the Nepture Radio Read Meter Scanner.
• Complete the entire scope in a continuous five‑day window after mobilization.
• Provide all required insurance, licenses, and compliance documentation; subcontracting is prohibited.
