On-Line Auction Services for Miscellaneous Surplus - Revenue

Pinellas County is seeking a qualified online auction service provider to offer a comprehensive web-based auction system for the sale of miscellaneous surplus equipment. The objective of this online auction service program is to reduce on-hand surplus inventory, increase market presence and bidder base, increase bid prices, and ease online auction program administration. Proposers are encouraged to provide creative solutions and identify additional areas, including scope, requirements, and fees. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified proposer based on evaluation criteria, including qualifications, approach, statement of work, compensation, and no exceptions to the RFP. • The proposer must have experience in providing online auctioning services to municipal and governmental agencies. • The proposer must maintain and support the proposed solution, including inventory control and asset disposal, at no additional cost to the County. • The proposer must work closely with the County representative to coordinate payment and pickup of assets purchased. • The proposer must provide training and support services to assist in the implementation of the proposed online auction system.
