Description
This solicitation seeks a single‑prime (or lead) contractor to design‑build an immersive audiovisual experience inside the existing Sensory Treehouse at Gwinnett County’s Environmental & Heritage Center. The contractor must handle all aspects of media production (concept, filming, editing, animation, sound design, captioning) and integrate a complex AV system (multiple wall, ceiling, and floor projectors, spatial audio loudspeakers, show‑control, networking, power, HVAC, and acoustic treatment). The work includes engineering drawings, permitting, installation, testing, commissioning, a one‑year warranty, and provision of all required insurance and bonds. The project requires at least five years of relevant experience, an A‑M Best rating of A‑8 or higher for sureties, and the ability to post a 5 % bid bond.
• Design‑build of immersive media (≈30‑minute film or alternate media) and full AV integration (up to 7 wall, 5 ceiling, 4 floor projectors; up to 7 speakers).
• Responsibilities span concept development, production, system engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and warranty support.
