Calle Mejia Sanitary Sewer Pipe Bursting Rehab Project

The City of Santa Fe is seeking a contractor to perform sanitary sewer pipe bursting rehabilitation on Calle Mejia. The project involves replacing approximately 19,500 feet of 10-inch clay sewer line with a 12-inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe. The contractor will be responsible for providing all mobilization, equipment, labor, and materials for the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer lines. The project is being procured through an emergency determination due to the poor condition of the existing pipe and the high probability of a future collapse or structural failure, which could impact the sewer facilities and/or the roadway. • The project includes pipe bursting/crushing of the sanitary sewer line, closed-circuit television video inspection, washing of the existing sanitary sewer line, and insertion of a new 12-inch HDPE pipe utilizing the pipe bursting method. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to complete the project. • The project is expected to last for 2 years. • The City of Santa Fe is seeking a contractor with experience in pipe bursting and sanitary sewer rehabilitation. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
