Budget estimate

$500,000 – $5,000,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work, which includes installing backflow prevention devices, excavating, demolishing, and constructing proposed drainage structures. The cost of materials, labor, and equipment will likely be substantial. Considering the project is federally funded, the budget might be significant. A rough estimate for a project of this nature could be between $500,000 and $5 million, depending on the specific requirements and the contractor's bid. The actual budget will depend on the bids received and the city's budget for the project.
