Felix Street Square Renovations

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Felix Street Square Renovations project. The project involves the removal and replacement of the stage and reconfiguration of Coleman Hawkins Park at Felix Street Square, including demolition, excavation, grading, curbs, concrete, brick work, seeding, and all other appurtenant work. The bid will be received on a Lump Sum basis, and a bid security in the amount of Five Percent (5%) is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Maintenance Bond and a Payment Bond. • The project requires compliance with various laws and regulations, including wage rates, equal opportunity in employment, and nondiscrimination in employment. • A mandatory prebid conference was held on October 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Felix Street Square. • The project is subject to the requirements of R.S.Mo. 292.675, which requires all contractors or subcontractors to provide a ten-hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
